National Iranian American Museum

The National Iranian American Museum (NIAM) is a digital museum dedicated to documenting and presenting the history, presence, and contributions of people with roots in Iran who live in the United States and other parts of the world.

NIAM focuses on the lived experiences of Iranian diaspora communities, highlighting migration histories, cultural life, institutions, and community development. The museum preserves photographs, documents, stories, and artifacts that illustrate how Iranian communities have developed across cities and generations.

Rather than focusing primarily on events inside Iran, NIAM centers on the public and social presence of Iranians living outside the country, particularly in North America and Europe.
